The Toronto Tree Tours tell the stories of the urban forest and the people and places it sustains.
Guided walking tours of 25 to 50 people are led throughout Toronto. Local experts and historians often co-lead tours. Stories told have been gathered in collaboration with community members.
Tour participants are introduced to the lives of individual trees, the benefits of the urban forest and easy ways to care for this valuable resource. Certain tours are also offered in second languages.
Select Tree Tours can be taken virtually from our map of Toronto. Simply click on the numbered trees to follow each tour.

Tours profiled on the site are also available free for download on each tour page as a PDF document. Simply print off the self-guided map and stories (on both sides of recycled paper please) and take a tour at your leisure.
Toronto Tree Tours is a program of Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF), a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the protection and improvement of the urban forest through education, training and planting initiatives.
