It seems like yesterday that we met at Chester subway station for the first tree tour at the Bain Co-operative in April. Since then, we explored the bounty of trees in the Vale of Avoca, discovered the hidden gems at Casa Loma, walked atop the city in Saddlecreek Park, trenched through rain at the Junction, ate fresh fruit off the trees at the second Edible tree tour, uncovered the grandeur of the Beaches, ambled in the majesty of Queen's Park, and meandered through the trees amongst the towers in St. James Town. 800 participants walked the streets of Toronto and shook hands with its urban forest. We made some great headlines, including radio interviews of Todd Irvine on CBC's Here and Now and Metro Morning, and OMNI 2 News Mandarin edition; we also made the National Post's Top 5 things to do in the city.

Thank you all for making this tree tour season one we will never forget. Stay tuned to the website for a list of new tours for next year. Don't forget, our online tours are available for you to stroll through any time in the comfort of your own home. You can also print a self guided tour of your favourite neighbourhood and take it yourself, or with a friend. Several tours are also available in second languages .
